Tern Water announces Partnership with Cross Properties.

This update is as of February 6th, 2017

Tern Water (Tern), the maker of the Tern Faucet, closes a strategic partnership with Cross Capital. The investment allows Tern to begin beta product development and launch early marketing campaigns.

The Tern Faucet is a modular attachment to a kitchen faucet that provides the user with high quality purification and information on water consumption, water efficiency, and filter longevity. The sensors within the Tern Faucet detect changes in consistency and flow, which shares the information via a micro controller to the user’s desktop, Android and iOS devices. Additionally, Tern’s technology automatically sends users a new filter in the mail once its detected beyond useful life, eliminating the current hassle of manual ordering. Founded and led by CEO Mohamed Zerban, Tern Water’s main goal is to help users gain access to water that is healthy, sustainable, and smart.

Tern Water has commenced a strategic partnership with Cross Capital, a financing affiliate of Cross Properties, which made an investment towards Tern’s seed round of funding. Tern Water will add Kevin Michals, Managing Partner of Cross as a Board Member and advisor for business development in the real estate market. Tern immediately secured bulk purchase orders and will expand its reach with additional forward thinking luxury residential real estate rental operators. The company plans to roll out regionally then nationally with apartment owners and operators to quickly scale sales. “As developers, we are committed to wellness at our communities, Cross is confident that a Tern Faucet will be well received by our health conscious tenants.”

Tern will be launching #KnowYourWater which focuses on testing water of consumers using Tern technology to detect and inform consumers about potential contaminants in their water. Tern believes that everyone should have access to healthy water. Follow their journey at TernWater.com and Tern Water
